An Ode to "Ina"

it's a few days to go before Peñafrancia. i can feel the excitement surging up in my veins
this is it. the 300 years of devotion to the Lady by Bicolanos who ardently venerate her.
Ina is our Queen and Mother and Protector. We are thankful for her love to us over
the past years. Her miracles are countless, conversions through her are priceless,
her love is immeasurable and her her warmth is felt by all who come to her for aid.

Thank you Ina for giving me the chance to see this momentous event take place. I will
have stories to tell about your greatness through the years to the next generation.
We will always be grateful for your presence in our midst.
