i guess i can survive city life after all,
i'm here in Makati city in metro manila now...
i don't like the suburbs much
but then staying for a while won't harm much,
or would it?
although i can't see myself working here
i can afford a vacation, i like tall scrapers
that just seem to want to rule the skies
like i cant believe man was able to make them...
of course we don't have them in the province
i remember the tallest building in Naga City
is PNB with only five (5) floors...
well, another thing is the cost of living
Mom always say that its very expensive
to live in the city...i agree very much.
a 3,000 worth apartment in the province
would be 15,000 worth here...
another thing is i don't like the environment
i guess i was used to fresh surroundings, more trees,
birds, flowers, grass... i won't replace it
with these artificial parks inside malls here...like,
who cares about them anyway?
and last thing would be, i don't like the culture of the
people here, there is so much apathy in the air,
like the rich only associates with their brood and
the poor are left behind , to themselves
asking for pity.
i told mom that the more the rich thrives, the more
poor people also exists just because of unequal
distribution of earth's resources...
ah! the culture of corruption stinks. really
that's why i'm looking forward to go home
tomorrow.. nonetheless i'm happy
for this experience
p.s. today is my elder sister Monchie's birthday,
happy birthday dear!all the best...thanks for everything
